My son was using the breastflow bottles because when he first transitioned to a bottle he was having a hard time with a regular nipple(live saver!). Eventually I felt like he had the hang of it and I wanted to move away from the double nipple system of the breastflow because I was sick of cleaning them. He took these easily and I loved that they fit in the breastflow bottles and I didn't have to buy new bottles. He also uses the soothie pacifiers and has since birth so I think that made the transition easier.

Great product!Mar 08, 2011
By M. Johnson I bought these Stage 2 nipples when I started putting cereal in my baby's bottle at 6 months of age. I still use the Stage 1 nipples for water bottles or bottles without cereal, otherwise the flow is too fast for my daughter.
The Stage 2 nipples work perfectly for the cereal mixed bottles; she's never "dribbled" much while using them and the cereal doesn't get clogged up in the nipple--unless I don't give it enough time to dissolve before feeding baby. They also don't allow much air in (unless the bottle is empty, of course) so the gas is minimized as well.
I completely recommend the Soothie bottles and nipples. I doubt I'll ever use another brand with my children.

These are the only nipples/bottles we used with our daughter as she grew. I wish they would make a fast flow nipple as I had to cut a hole in the stage 2 once my daughter went to a stage 3, which they don't have in these. Other than that love these!
Didn't make it to stage 2Dec 01, 2011
By Danette I tried the stage 1 for my daughter but she didn't like these nipples at all. She loves her Soothie pacifier but she just didn't seem interested. Luckily, I have a little nephew who uses these and he took them off my hands.
