5Fits a lot of things!May 01, 2010
By L. Wu
I've been using this steamer for 3 months and it works great for me. Everything fit in it. 5 Bottles (almost all brands even tommee tippee), 2 breast pumps, 1 toy, 10 nipples with neck , 4 pacifiers, 10 bottle caps.....etc. can all fit in there. The steamer takes around 5 mins to steam and 5 mins to cool down. You can also adjust the rack inside to make less or bigger space.

3Works, But can be betterNov 18, 2010

Messy and difficult to dump the water when done.

The rack has 2 usable levels. Bottom level for bottle; top level for nipples and caps. When it is complete, water accumulate on the bottom rack and base unit. So you have to dump the water on the bottom rack (usually half of this water end up on my kitchen countertop when I do this). Then you have to dump the water that accumulate on the base unit. Note to manufacturer: Make some holes on the bottom rack so the water drops down to the base unit; so water only collects in 1 place and I can clean up in 1 step.

The unit is designed with 3 levels, which only works with all small parts. You cannot use 3 levels with bottles.

And it is difficult to add/remove this 3rd level.

2BabyPro is just so-soFeb 16, 2011

Used this steamer for 4.5 months with my twins and it just quit working. Contacted customer service and they only warranty this for 3 months from manufacturer date. Terrible customer service and warranty for that matter. Gave it two stars because the concept is great and it does have plenty of room for taller bottles, we use the Playtex ventair. Top can steam up to 6 nipples and plenty of room for pacifiers as well. Just wish it would have lasted thru the 1st year.

1Terrible Manufacturing on Top of Poor DesignJan 03, 2011
By Margaret E. Gaffney
The bottom line on this (and the other First Years product I purchased at the same time) is it failed within 2 months. When the on-lever is depressed the unit is supposed to run a set period of time and then turn off. In theory this is great as you can walk away from it. The problem is that the timing function stopped working: 4, 2, 1 minute and then it wouldn't come on again.

It was within the 90-day warranty so I sent it back. Costumer service was courteous and helpful even if I had to pay to ship the faulty unit back before they sent the new one. I have had the replacement for less then a month and it has now failed in the same way. Seeing as the white noise machine I also purchased from First Years has stopped working within 2 months... I am done with this company.

This sterilizer is fairly efficient on space, but not set-up for easy usability. As one reviewer mentioned, the levels are not easy to change and the accumulated water a pain to dump.

5This is a "Must to have" itemJun 27, 2011

I don't know what I would have done without this sterilizer. It makes my life a whole lot easier - it holds all the bottles I have to clean from day-care, and it holds the parts from the pump, and in 10 minutes, everything is clean and ready to be used again. Easy, with only one touch of the button! Must have!
