"Pray to Know"
We'be been using Singapore Math for two years now, for grades 1,2,4 and 5. The workbooks are simple black and white, with no frills, but great content. The textbook is colorful and full of clear examples of the concept with large print. The teacher's guide gives a great check list of what to cover daily and from what book. There is a textbook which is easy to do with the child. We often do some of the problems together and then assign some in a blank notebook. The workbook has a section on that lesson too. The workbook is consumable. If your child still doesn't get it, there is another great, inexpensive workbook called "Intensive Practice" that I would recommend getting to supplement where necessary.
The Teacher's Guide also gives teaching strategy and instruction so you can be confident that you are using their recommended methods. The strategies for math are exceptional. I love this Math!
