Best Math Program to improve problem solving!Mar 26, 2010 I love this Math program we have KA & KB, 1B & 2A. Both of my children; who are very different one a socialite and the other a very shy precise child...love this Math program. We were so tired of the repetition and lack of quality thinking in U.S. Math. Singapore is inexpensive and they have extra practice, test books and etc. Teacher directions are not boring follow alongs, they are short, informative and easy to understand. Lots of hands-on activities and games. Their problem solving and thinking ability has greatly increased! Most manipulatives can be items you already have around the house or you can make them cheaply from paper. For more info and recommendations check out [...]

Excellent ProgramApr 03, 2009 My children just hated a popular afterschool math tutoring program so I had to find something else for them. After homeschooling my 8 year old for a semester, I started using this program for her and my 5 year old boy. They have a great time doing it and have learned an incredible amount from the simple, uncluttered but fun lessons. I've even tried to turn my children's private school onto this and they are interested after seeing the results. The five year old did 20 pages while sitting with me on the bed because he liked it so much.
