I purchased this book at the suggestion of a friend whom home schools her
children for my 9 yr.old daughter who has problems with story problems in
math. She finds this workbook a lot of fun and enjoys reading the clues
to find out if her answers are right. It is so much easier to get her to
sit and do these perplexors than it is to get her to play math games or work in a math workbook and she is still using the same skill for the perplexor as she would need to do a story problem for math.

Was disappointed because the picture does not match what I received. The picture displayed the book and the description described the book also. When I received the order I got the perplexors toy. When I looked at the title I do see that it says...Perplexors Basic Level [Toy]. Not sure if it was a shipping error or what. I bought it as a Christmas gift and didn't have time to return. I gave my 9 year old niece the toy and she loved it so it all worked out.
