I played this with my friend's family, and everyone from ages 13 to 52 had a blast. It's an imaginative, challenging card game that won't overwhelm kids but is still fun for adults.

If you enjoy rummy games of any kind, Run Wild is for you. There are no turns...you simply play your cards in sets and runs as quickly as possible. You can play off other players sets and runs, swap for wild cards, or drop a draw three card on the other players. Whichever player gets rid of the cards in their hand first is the winner, while other players take points based on cards left in their hand.
The game plays differently most every time you play it and we play for hours. Players as young as 8 enjoy the speed of the game and outdueling their parents in recognizing where to play their cards.
Run Wild is great fun that we take off the game shelf over and over.

We had great hopes for Run Wild. We are always looking for new games that stimulate thinking but are still fun.
Run Wild came out of the box very visually appealing, but our 5 and 11 year olds did not find the game very fun.
It took a lot of explaining and even then they could not keep up the pace of the game.
My wife and I played it together for a few weeks and it was fun, but has sense found its place on the back of the game shelf.
Lots of counting and matching involved, kids must enjoy these elements for the game to be fun.

I've always enjoyed Rummy games and this variant adds on a lot of fun and excitement. I appreciated this game's introduction of tension into the game and the extra layers of strategy it adds. Great for a two-player card game.
