This is a great product that has gone a long way toward taming the Lego mess!!!! You can build your Lego "city" around the roads on the mat and then when you are finished, zip up your mat, pop the Lego creations into the box, cover and put away. It could not be any easier. The item is roomy enough and the top fits nicely in place. Great product that I wish had been around when my older kids were playing Legos!!!

I got this for my son who loves legos. It is easy for him to put the blocks away and to carry them from place to place. The fold out mat the box makes is nice but if you store your blocks in it you really can not use the mat.

Last Christmas I bought two of the boxes for my grandchildren just as they were getting started in LEGO. Now 11 months later both boxes are still in one piece and used every day. The 8 year old especially likes his and brings it with him whenever we baby sit them at our house.

I've had other products that were play mats/toy bins but those were off the velcro variety. I was very impressed with how sturdy the zippers and overall build of this is! My boys (3 and 5) love it. Rather than digging through the box they will unzip the sides and let the legos spread out to find what they want. For cleanup they just push all the legos back on to the mat in a pile and zip it up. The lid has taken a lot of abuse (standing on it, sitting on it) and is showing some wear. Its a little squashed looking but still looks good and fits properly on the bin. The lid can be velcroed closed. The look of it is great - boys love it. The size is perfect for our needs. We have about 12 Lego sets (medium to large box sets) plus quite a few extra legos and there is still room for more. I like that whenever I find a stray lego I can just pop it in the box through the handle cutout rather than removing the lid (and the various other things that are stored on top of this box when the toys are all put away). Very happy with this purchase.
