Dominos with a TwistNov 28, 2009

My 7 year old son loves this game along with Mom, Dad and 12 year old sister. What is cool about this game is that you get points when you place your tile's colors next to another placed matching tile's colors. The dots on the matched tiles, not yours, are counted towards your score. The game pieces are very durable. A game runs about 30 minutes.

A good gameAug 12, 2010

In this day and age of electronic media this is nice little game for the family. Its good for kids under 10 but I think it needs to be a little more challenging to keep older kids engaged. It seems like there should be a way of making a more challenging version. Overall, a good game to get the family together for some quality time.

Wasn't our favorite...Feb 12, 2011
By Lisa My family loves games. We play games/cards regularly. Since Qwirkle (also by Mindware) is one of our top favorites, I thought we'd enjoy Dizios, also by Mindware. We've only played the game once, but didn't even make it to the end. It just didn't seem fun to anyone, so we all decided to quit and play something else. Matching one tile at a time was just boring. It wasn't easy matching the colors and corners perfectly, so each turn took a long time. The point value of each turn was low also. It was a very...slow...and....dull...game. There were directions included for a solitaire version. I can see that possibly being fun for my 4 or 7 year old playing alone and matching tiles, kind of like a puzzle. I don't see my family playing Dizios as a group anymore. With choices like Qwirkle, Qwirkle Cube, Blokus, Farkel, Yahtzee, etc... on the shelf, why pick Dizios? ... blah

Great for kids and adultsJul 07, 2010
By Katie I purchased this game for my 5 and 3 year old sons based on a review of it in a magzine, but once we played it I got hooked myself. This is a great game for families to play together, adults and kids will enjoy it.

Great color and pattern game.Jun 17, 2010

We bought this game because my wife likes to play games with colors and patterns, and sure enough, it turned out to be a very good color and pattern game. The rules are simple enough but gameplay is challenging enough to make it a fun repeatable experience.
