1Not a good memory game - pictures look too similarAug 31, 2011
By New England Mom "Louise"
I bought this for my son because it was Toy Story. My daughter has the original Memory game. This is a terrible game!! So many of the pictures look alike, it almost makes the child think that they're bad at it. For instance, 3 different pictures could have Woody in them but in 3 different poses. It just doesn't work with the idea of the game for young kids. Stick to the original, we're giving ours to good will.

2A little deceptiveMar 26, 2011
By Lili Anderson
I loved playing memory as a kid. I was excited to teach my two year old son how to play. We got the game a few days ago, and he's really enjoyed it, especially the Toy Story characters. However, if I'd known that the characters repeat on the cards so many times I would not have bought this version of Memory. For now, it works because we only use a few sets at a time, but it'll be a very long time before we use the whole version of the game (longer than it would be with the original Memory game). There are repeats of characters over and over to make the complete set (Woody is in different poses on at least four sets of the game), and that certainly add another dimension of difficulty to the game.

5Great Combination!Nov 25, 2011
By Brent
Those of us who have played "Memory" know how fun and educational it can be. I LOVE this version as it is a more challenging one. As another reviewer stated, there are several "Woody" cards but they are in different poses, hence the increased challenge of the game. We have the original "Toy Story Memory Game" which allows for younger ones to start building the "Memory Pathways" a little easier. When you combine the "Toy Story 3 Memory" with the original "Toy Story Game" I believe you have a GREAT combination. They are both fun and personally,I appreciate the additional challenge built in to the "Toy Story 3 game". The Toy Story 3 gets an A+ in this house. We have noticed a greater attention to detail develop in our child. I say get both and you will have a winning combination for YEARS of fun! Thanks for your time in reading my opinion on the game.

1This game is tortureNov 21, 2011
By J. Barclay
I like Toy Story and I like Memory games, but this game is horrible.

As other reviewers have stated, the pictures on the cards are too similar to each other. There's a close up of Woody; Woody with his foot on a ball; Woody with Buzz; Woody with Jessie; Woody dancing; Woody on Bullseye; Woody with Jessie & Buzz; Woody with Jessie & Buzz & Hamm & Rex; Woody with Jessie, Buzz, Hamm, Rex, Aliens, Bullseye & Mr Potato Head. Possibly even more combinations - I think we lost some of the cards.

We usually break the cards into 3 sets and play them that way, to make the game more manageable - but today my 4 year old son wanted to play the whole set together. He seemed to enjoy the challenge, but I did not find it enjoyable. It prompted me to come and write this review.

You'd think that they could have added more individual characters to the cards: Andy, Bonnie, Big Baby, Barbie, Ken, Zurg, Andy's Mom, Mr. Pricklepants. Please?!

We also own 'eeBoo I Never Forget a Face Memory Game' and I find that one much more enjoyable and worthwhile.

Great gift for preschool, or young elementary school kids. This gift was for a 1st grade boy who was having a "Toy Story" themed birthday party. It was a hit.
