An excellent learning source.Jan 11, 2011
By Greg S. Johnston This Singapore math book is an excellent learning source to further a child's ability in math. The problems are detailed and gives many different examples of a type of problem whether it is addition to division, Graphs to fractions.

practical and effective Math teaching and review for kids - works!!!Nov 08, 2010
By Mark Ehrman We have used the Singapore Math series to teach our kids math (since the schools really don't do it well, or at all. It has changed their level of knowledge, but more importantly there has been a shift from resenting the additional work to enjoying and looking forward to it (a little bribery helps, of course!). Since our schools won't do it, there are only two choices: 1) innumeracy for our children; or 2) do it ourselves. We have opted for the second choice, and use this series to help us. We recommend it heartily.
Great Practice WorkMar 24, 2012
By jwol3646 Needed a good workbook to reinforce the material he is learning in school. The material is familiar, yet different problems to work out, plus the books can be found in sequence, increasing in difficulty. Going over the unfamiliar problems help him prepare for what is forthcoming and makes math less difficult to understand.
Not perfect but good practice bookNov 28, 2011
By Momto8 I'm using this to homeschool my daughter in 3rd grade and I like the challenge level but am having to supplement it to be comprehensive enough to cover everything she needs. I like the format and no-frills approach. May be better supplement than sole curriculum.
