This guy really goes!Apr 21, 2007
By C. Findley Inchworm is a great, no batteries required toy. Nothing on it blinks, or talks or needs a volume adjustment. Inchworm moves fast, and can easily transition from carpeted to hard flooring (and back). The wheels are large with rubber grips, and have cute little beads that quietly clatter when spun, keeping a baby's attention even if he can't make the toy go by himself. My daughter loved watching inchworm fly across the floor when she was little, and loved making it go even more (at about 15 months old).
The only negative (and why it got 4 stars instead of 5) is that it can be broken if you pull it backwords. My daughter did this and I actually heard something inside pop. Now it's just a push toy. But she still loves racing it down the hallway to me.

Amazing QUIET ToyNov 09, 2008
By R. My son received this for his 1st birthday and absolutely loves it. At this point he just shakes it and pushes it around (even backwards... I read in another review that caused theirs to break, but we have had no problems). It's fun for my kids to play with together(my 4 year old likes to hear him laugh when she runs it into him lol)and easy on mommy's ears. :)
We REALLY love this toy and I would highly recommend it!

baby loves to see it spin!Jun 30, 2008
By Smiley Bride This inchworm can be made to roll by just pushing it or by pushing down on the hump on its back. The latter method will make it pick up quite a bit of speed on a hardwood floor!! The best detail is the domed wheels with teeny weeny balls inside and a clear cover, so that baby can see them go move as the wheels turn. I introduced this at approximately 3 months of age. Baby loves to press down on it and lift it off the floor to see the wheels turn (and the beads shake) really fast. As parents, we love that it does not require batteries!! Oh, and apparently the antennae are really good to chew.

His favorite toyJun 04, 2008
By Fred We saw this at a baby school my wife and I were auditing and my son immediately went for the inchworm and played with it over and over. I found it at Amazon and ordered it right away. Fairly priced, it arrived on time. It's sturdy and colorful, and isn't scary like some other motion toys. We've had the inchworm for 2 months now and it has been my son's favorite toy since we opened it. He still isn't able to press down on the top to make it go himself, but that day is coming. Highly recommended.

Motivation for crawling!Jan 04, 2011
By C. Carter Really like this toy and I think it will be good motivation for my 9mo to start crawling. He can't really press it down at this age/or realize he can make it go, but sure he will figure it out. Does not work really great on carpet, but does go well on the tile floor.
