Wow, is this doll huge!Oct 30, 2007
By C. J. Karluk She's big folks. Don't underestimate the 34" height listed for this doll. We are talking Dora with the big head. I can't speak on play value yet, she's in a closet until Christmas. She is for my five year old, but I'm a little concerned she's going to take out my two year old if she falls on him. She is the biggest play doll I've ever seen. And loud. Why do they not make a volume switch on these toys. I know "hola I'm dora" is going to be my alarm clock for some weeks after Christmas. Overall though I'm impressed with her. She appears very sturdy. My five year old can play dress up with Doras clothes with plenty of room for growth. I've been saying for years Doras a member of the family, now she actually takes up space. Good buy for Dora fan.

Ya can't find these in stores so ya better order online! This is by far the lowest price and fastest shipping. Your little girl will be the envy of all her friends. This is a toddler size playmate that not only educates but makes a great little girlfriend ( her hair is so much fun to play with) . Made to be quite durable and stable.

Super-Size Dora!Nov 25, 2007

Great life-like, educational doll, but the super-size head could be intimidating for the smaller toddler. I worry about the doll toppling over and possibly causing injury. My recommended age would be 5+.

Mother of threeDec 27, 2007

I bought three of the Dora Friendship Adventure Doll for Christmas 2007. I have twin girls 4 and a 3 year old girl. The only reason I bought these dolls was because it was on sale for $39.99 from amazon and also I thought my three girls would really be excited to have it. However the were excited for the first 5 minutes and after that they never play with the doll again. The doll is too heavy. The head is extremely big. It is dangerous for any toddler without adults supervising. I believe if this doll should fall on a child age two or under they would be serously hurt. I am concerned for my own daughters.
Please think carefully before you buy this because I think sometime in the near future there might be a recall because of too many kids getting hurt.
