Straightforward, teaches the basicsNov 27, 2010

I'm using this to supplement the math that my son gets in school. Unlike the other major math textbooks for young kids that I've looked at, this one progresses in a really straightforward way and doesn't jump around from topic to topic. I'm a fan.

This is an excellent book for children. It's easy to understand, fun to work on, and it methodically teaches and practices new math skills and knowledge. My daughter and I love it. The kindergarten B book is generally understood to be about 1st-grade level math in American schools.

We enjoyed this book. It had a lot of bright colors to keep my son interested. The lessons were just right for him - he learned, but never got frustrated. The book was easy for me to follow; no teacher's guide was needed.
