good clear designsJan 23, 2009

"the book reader"
This book contained clear designs on good quality paper. There was no bleeding through to other pages when using markers, as happens in so many other books. It also is a good price compared to many other books in the number of pages you get. This has been enjoyed in our household by grandparents and grandkids, so it covers a broad range of ages too.

Excellent book...Apr 17, 2008
By JAN One of the best coloring books...even though the designs repeat themselves it was worth working on them...the book has all sorts of geometrical shapes displayed harmoniously in round, square or hexagonal structures...

7yo loves it!Nov 25, 2011
By Half Pint My 7yo picked this and 3 other Mindware coloring books with his birthday money. He loves them! We really like that the pages are blank on the back. The reason I bumped the rating down is that most of the pictures are in the book twice. So even though there are 23 coloring pages, there are only 12 different pictures. The 12th picture, which is the middle page picture, does appear a second time in the book--on the title page and therefore smaller. I certainly didn't realize he would be getting so few different pictures, and was rather disappointed with Mindware for doing that. It doesn't bother my son, though. He just sees it as an opportunity to try it a different way or to start over if he messes up on the first one.
My favorite so far!May 08, 2012
By IslandSandy My adult daughter introduced me to the art of adult coloring. I loved to color as a child and so did she. Seems there is a whole league of adults going back to the "less stress" time of childhood and coloring. I decided to give it a whirl and am hooked! I have chosen to do these books while watching tv instead of snacking at night! This particular book is my fav so far. It has not too intricate designs that look beautiful when completed. There are 23 pages with various prism designs some of which are repeated. The pages are blank on the back which is my preference. I use a piece of card stock between the pages to stop any bleed through. This book is copyrighted 1998 so it has stood the test of time. Very pleased with the Mindware coloring books as a whole in comparison to other brands.
