Wonderful reference book - an essential guide!Mar 13, 2009
By Andrew This is a wonderful reference book - easy to read and conversational - yet packed full of helpful information. I am following many of the principles I learned in this book to earn my degree. People ask me questions all the time about how I am doing this. I usually direct them to this book to help explain things better.

College Without CompromiseOct 27, 2007
By the chaffin 5 This book was a great encouragement to me. The authors outline a variety of non-traditional approaches to college, and provide thorough information, much of it based on their first hand experience. I originally borrowed the book from a friend; I am purchasing my own copy to keep as a reference.

Great Read...Very InformativeJul 17, 2006
By L. Johnson Being "new" at home schooling both my children, I had lots of questions about curriculum and especially college. One of my children is in high school and the other in middle school. College Without Compromise is a wealth of information about the upcoming college years. A must read for anyone home schooling through high school. Thanks Kris and Scott!
How to avoid brainwashing and do it on the 'cheap'May 25, 2011
By Veritas A helpful book for homeschoolers in learning tips about how to avoid (or minimize) exposure of one's children to false teaching (such as promotion of evolutionist type thinking, secular psychology, promotion of socialistic ideas, etc...) in college. Also, why spend ten's of thousands (or hundreds of thousands in some cases) when you can get an excellent college education by being savvy about options and methods. A little planning ahead can go a long way.
I'm so glad we found this book!Apr 09, 2011
By Jesse Lahey As our oldest child wraps up his sophomore year in high school, I'm so glad we stumbled on this book! It's both inspiring and practical. I think it will help us continue our homeschool values, save a ton of money, and launch our kids into successful and happy adult lives. It's now five years old, so there may be lots of new/updated information to share. I would love to hear if anyone knows of any good sources for follow-up information; as of today, the author's website does not seem to be working.
