Not a eco-option if you have to toss it outSep 03, 2009
By Colin Phillips

We bought these bottles (along with the backpacks) because we were looking for an eco-option for our kids, to replace plastic bottles and juice boxes.
Problems: 1) the paint chips ALOT, even though we handwashed them; 2) the stainless steel reacts with the juice we put in the bottle (apple, grape) making it rancid (must not be food-grade stainless); 3) the tops leaked unless closed VERY tightly and even then they had problems. My kids could get liquid from the pull-up spout without it even being pulled out; 4) All the parts were hard to clean. The tops didn't clean in the dishwasher so I finally had to just leave them soaking every night in hot soapy water.
I like Crocodile Creek's other products but this one is not a winner.

CuteApr 30, 2010
By Amy Peterson I got this because it matches the colors in the backpack I bought my soon-to-be kindergartener, and I figured it would be nice for her to have access to water or to take to school/on trips if necessary.
It's a good little bottle, stainless steel. However, the pink plastic cap cover is pretty flimsy. I have a feeling it's replaceable.
My only other experience with this type of bottle are the Sigg bottles. This one is very similar, only bigger than the kiddie ones I bought my daughter when she was a baby.

By HKP Nice materials and colours, twist action nozzle easy to use but might confuse some younger children into leaving open.

Great for kidsDec 30, 2009

Perfect size to fit in my daughter's book bag - and perfect size for her (age 7). I love that the drinking spout is covered. She takes water to school each day. One thing I would change would be some way to attach it to her bag rather than inserting in one of the pockets.
Love this product.
Love these water bottles.Apr 13, 2012
By Mars I love these water bottles. The colors are so vivid, and they are durable and fun. We have 4 of them, and we'll probably buy more later. Sometimes we use them instead of sippies. They are just great. Not dishwasher safe, but well worth it.
