Just tested the one I bought against two other compasses and a map. Useless thing points in the wrong direction. If I tried to use this with out checking it first I would have ended up hopelessly lost.I'll never buy from them again.

Tested this and the smaller Brunton 9067. Both performed well. The case on this unit was nice for protection and the crosshair on the cover made accurate reading easy. While not a $100 compass, this does a good job for a basic price. The Luminous North, East, South, and West points are a nice touch, too.
