8th Edition:Mar 06, 2006
By J. R. Pulley This book is, as far as I can tell, the same as the 8th Edition. The only difference is the cover of the book. Page numbers are the same, pictures are all the same. I accidentally purchased the wrong book, but turned out it worked just fine and I paid 1/10th of the price.

ART BARGAIN!Jan 16, 2012
By Samurai Girl I recommend this highly! (The 7th edition of the ARTFORMS classic is budget-friendly with all the bells and whistles at a cut-rate price). It is a thoughtful, inquring, vibrant book of ideas about art, and provides an excellent introduction to the subject. The chapters cover what you would expect, but the individual considerations, some of the selections and choices as well as the inquiry about the works are really thought-provoking in the best possible way.
Easy enough for a middle-schooler to read, and intriguing enough to satisfy art professionals.
